Refund Policy
Our policy on cancellations, refunds, and project termination.

1. Important Context
Construction projects are fundamentally different from product purchases. When you buy a product, returning it is relatively simple. But when construction work has been done — materials purchased, labor deployed, ground excavated — it cannot be "returned." This policy is written with that reality in mind.
We aim to be fair to both parties. If a situation arises where a project cannot continue, we will work with you to find a reasonable resolution. But we also need to cover costs we have already incurred in good faith.
2. Before Construction Begins
2.1 Free Consultation Stage
Initial consultations and site visits (within Tamil Nadu) are provided at no charge. There is nothing to refund at this stage — you have no financial obligation until you sign a Project Agreement.
2.2 After Signing Agreement, Before Construction
If you cancel after signing the Project Agreement but before any physical work has started on site:
- If cancellation is within 7 days of signing: Full refund of advance payment, minus any design work already completed (charged at actuals).
- If cancellation is after 7 days: Advance payment is refundable minus: (a) cost of any design/planning work completed, (b) materials already ordered or procured, and (c) an administrative fee of 5% of the advance amount.
3. During Construction
If you wish to terminate the project after construction has begun:
- You must provide written notice of termination to our project manager
- Work will stop within 7 days of receiving your written notice (some activities may need to be completed for safety reasons)
- You are liable to pay for: all work completed up to the termination date, materials already procured (whether on site or in transit), and any third-party commitments we cannot cancel
- If the total amount you have paid exceeds the cost of work done plus materials, the difference will be refunded within 45 days
- If the cost of work done plus materials exceeds what you have paid, the balance becomes due within 30 days
We will provide a detailed breakdown of costs within 15 days of termination.
4. Cancellation by Us
In rare circumstances, we may need to terminate a project. This could happen if:
- Payments are overdue by more than 60 days despite repeated reminders
- The client makes the site inaccessible for an extended period without valid reason
- Regulatory issues make the project legally impossible to continue
- Safety concerns that the client refuses to address
If we terminate the project, you will be charged only for work completed and materials procured. Any excess payment will be refunded within 45 days.
5. Design and Consulting Services
For standalone design or consulting engagements (not part of a construction project):
- Fees for work already completed are non-refundable (you receive the deliverables for that work)
- Fees for work not yet started are fully refundable
- Fees for work in progress are refundable on a pro-rata basis
6. Quality Disputes
If your concern is about the quality of work rather than wanting to cancel the project, a refund is not the appropriate remedy. Instead:
- Raise the quality concern with your project manager in writing
- We will inspect the work within 7 days
- If the concern is valid, we will rectify the work at our cost under our warranty obligations
- If there is a disagreement about quality standards, either party may request an independent assessment
We strongly encourage raising quality concerns as early as possible — during construction, not after handover.
7. Force Majeure Cancellations
If a project must be cancelled due to events beyond either party's control (natural disasters, government orders, pandemics, war), the following applies:
- Neither party is considered at fault
- You pay for work completed and materials procured (at cost, with no markup)
- Any excess payment is refunded within 60 days
- No administrative fees or penalties apply
8. How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are entitled to a refund under this policy:
- Send a written request to info@raddy.site with the subject "Refund Request — [Your Project Name]"
- Include your Project Agreement number, the reason for the request, and the amount you believe is refundable
- Our accounts team will review the request and respond within 15 business days
- If approved, the refund will be processed within 30-45 business days via the original payment method (or bank transfer if the original method is unavailable)
